Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the website [www.rainbowsfurniture.co.uk](http://www.rainbowsfurniture.co.uk) (the "Website"), operated by Rainbows Furniture Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

 

By accessing or using our Website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Website or services.

 

 

1. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Products

All kitchens, dressers, and furniture supplied by Rainbows Furniture Ltd are custom-made and bespoke, produced to your individual specifications. As such, items are made specifically for you and cannot easily be resold.

 

2. Deposits

A deposit is required to secure an order, whether placed online or in person.

Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances, including (but not limited to) change of mind, dissatisfaction, inability to pay the remaining balance, or cancellation by the customer.

Deposits are used to secure materials and production specific to your order.

Outstanding balances will be followed up by telephone or email six (6) weeks after the initial payment date if not already settled.

 

3. Pricing, Errors and Omissions

While we make every effort to ensure pricing and specifications are accurate, errors may occasionally occur.

Prices shown are subject to confirmation.

A binding contract is only formed once we confirm your order details and accept your order.

Payment (partial or full) does not constitute order acceptance until confirmation is issued by us.

If a pricing error occurs and we cannot honour the advertised price, we will either:

Offer a full refund of any amount paid, or

At our discretion, offer a revised price or goodwill discount.

 

4. Delivery

You will be contacted approximately one week prior to delivery to confirm a delivery date.

Customers must be available on the agreed date. Changes may result in delays of up to six (6) weeks.

Deliveries are carried out by our own trained staff.

Delivery is limited to ground floor access only, with no stairs or steps.

Dressers are delivered in two sections (base and rack) and are not fixed together or to walls.

Delivery times are between 8:00am and 8:00pm, with an approximate time window provided on the day.

Customers must inspect items upon delivery. Once signed for, the item is deemed accepted.

No refunds or returns will be accepted after signing, except for manufacturing faults notified within 24 hours.

Transit damage must be reported immediately.

We cannot be held responsible for delays relating to third-party goods such as appliances. Delivery dates may be altered where necessary.

 

5. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required for kitchens, dressers, and bespoke furniture.

In some cases, full payment may be required at our discretion.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to delivery.

If delivery dates are changed within four (4) weeks of the agreed date, original payment schedules still apply.

 

6. Payment Methods & Ownership

We accept payment by cash, debit/credit card, or bank transfer.

All goods remain the property of Rainbows Furniture Ltd until payment has been made in full.

 

7. Changes to Design or Specification

Any changes affecting cost must be paid in accordance with our payment terms.

All changes must be confirmed in writing.

We are not responsible for specification changes relating to third-party appliances or associated goods.

 

8. Workmanship & Guarantee

Kitchen units are guaranteed for one (1) year from the date of delivery.

Furniture items are also guaranteed for one (1) year.

Guarantees apply only once full payment has been received.

We do not guarantee ancillary items such as appliances, sinks, taps, or worktops, which are covered by manufacturer warranties.

 

9. Installation, Liability & Risk

Once installation is complete, risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.

We are not liable for defects caused by:

  • Fair wear and tear

  • Negligence or misuse

  • Natural movement of wood

Guarantees are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.

 

10. Natural Materials

Wood is a natural product and variations in colour, grain, and finish are to be expected.

* Painted finishes may show knots over time.

* Colour changes and natural ageing are not considered defects.

 

11. Worktops

Worktops are supplied subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

Final pricing is confirmed after templating and may increase or decrease accordingly.

 

12. Subcontractors

We do not carry out plumbing, electrical, tiling, or building works and are not responsible for the actions of third-party trades.

 

13. Cancellations

Cancelled orders are charged at15% of the order value or costs incurred, whichever is greater.

Deposits are non-refundable.

 

14. Consequential Loss

Rainbows Furniture Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the supply, delivery, or installation of our products.

 

15. Third-Party Links

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
